With the ambition to unite multiple asian cuisines under one roof, Scott had the vision for his restaurant well before he had a physical space. The name “Origami” already has so much meaning in itself, and the desire for an icon that nods to asian culture while referencing the art of paper folding made sense. The crane is a symbol of happiness, good fortune and longevity, so it was our primary focus. Additionally we created sub-logos representing the focal ingredients that are used in Scott’s recipes and can be used on menus or marketing material.
