Can Can Cocktails is a unique start up out of Sacramento, California. Artist and Bartender, Ryan Seng united his passion for making delicious cocktails with his artwork, both into and onto a can. Our goal working with Can Can Cocktails was to make sure that his recipes and artwork were a focal point throughout the identity campaign. As Can Can Cocktails continues to grow, our involvement only gets more and more exciting.

BRAND IDENTITY
Ryan Seng’s paintings are notorious for showing a little nip and feeling reminiscent of the time of the roaring 20s. Alas “Can Can Cocktails” was coined. The main logo composition is shaped similar to the top of a soda back, with the stylization of paintbrush strokes to honor Ryan’s art medium as a painter.
LABEL DESIGN
Each canned cocktail features one of Ryan Seng’s paintings as the background graphic. The main logo and information band on the can were then color coordinated to match the artwork. The key to having multiple cocktail flavors was creating a consistent template that is recognizable but offering subtle variations that give each cocktail it’s own identity.
Shelf Talkers for In-Store Displays
In order to grab a customer’s attention in store, we designed “shelf talkers” as folded cards that extend in front of a shelf display and stickers that could be applied to the inside of refrigerator displays. We created additional artwork for each cocktail that featured the fruit + herbs found in each drink with matching background colors to illustrate the bright and refreshing flavors of the canned drinks.
Enamel Pins and Can Box Flat Design
Who doesn’t love a good enamel pin? We transformed the logo design into a custom pin with a branded card to hold them. The logo was also applied to various parts of the package & delivery designs, including the tray holder to organize cans onto palettes.
BUSINESS CARDS AND SELL SHEETS FOR ACCOUNT RELATIONSHIPS
As the sole-proprietor, Ryan needed proper business cards and information sheets in order to conduct professional meetings with vendors and distributors. Each team member eventually received their own card with a different color palette and artwork. The Sell Sheet above served as a leave-behind to provide contact and purchase information for the canned cocktail skus.
